Ok, I'm pulling out my old Sketchers roller skates and I want to go skating outside.
However, I don't want to bite it on any of the many bad pieces of sidewalk around the city. I am going to head over to Golden Gate Park on Sundays and skate on the closed roads but where else can one skate without running into crowds of tourists, pedestrians or bad sidewalk?
So where are the best places to roller skate in San Francisco?
Dolce & Gabbana
Besides Golden Gate Park, there's the Lake Merced Loop, Presidio Marina Green, and Crissy Field.
1How did I know Wren was going to be the first to comment!
I have never been good at
roller skating so I am of no help here. If you ever want to dust off your old skateboard however, I might be of help someday.

3omg radar! a skateboard!? i tried it once a literally ended up with my face AT the wheel of a car. one more inch and it was my face meets the tire. it scared the crap out of me. did you do all those tricks and such? do your kids skat?
4Yep I was a skater girl in high school. I wasn't that great with the big tricks but I could pull a few out. Skyler wanted (and got) a skateboard for Christmas. Her first outing with Dad wasn't that wonderful. I need to take them out myself I think.
5Great street to skateboard down according to my nephew is Jones Street from California to Market. He rode his long board down the hill and somehow got every light then jumped off his board at market street and rolled on the sidewalk while his board hit a storefront. No injuries, no broken glass just worn out DCs.
